Return and refund policy

In accordance with Legislative Decree 206/2005, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason within 14 calendar days, without being required to provide any explanation and without incurring any penalty.

The regulation states that by exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer must return the purchased goods at their own expense, and the seller is required to issue a refund once the goods have been received. This right cannot be exercised if the delivery has already taken place and for perishable food and/or household goods.

The returned item must be intact.

Returns are always at the customer’s expense.

In case of damage

If the product is damaged during return shipping, Sikania will promptly notify the customer, who must file a claim with the chosen courier to obtain any potential refund (if insured). In this case, the product will be made available to the customer and the return request will be cancelled.

Sikania assumes no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of products returned without insurance.

Inspection and Refund

Upon receipt, the returned product will be inspected to verify any damage or tampering not caused by transport.

Without prejudice to the above, and net of any costs for damage to the original packaging, Sikania will refund the full amount paid within 30 days of receiving the goods.

The refund will be made via bank transfer: the customer must promptly provide the complete IBAN details (ABI code, CAB code, and the bank account number registered to the invoice holder).

Loss of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is forfeited in the following cases:

  • Missing outer packaging and/or original internal packaging;
  • Missing essential elements of the product;
  • Product damage due to causes other than transport.

In such cases, Sikania will return the product to the sender and charge for the shipping costs.

Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is excluded, pursuant to Article 59 of the Consumer Code, in the following cases:

  • The supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized;
  • Products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
  • Goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items;
  • Alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of the conclusion of the sales contract, and whose delivery can only take place after thirty days, with value subject to market fluctuations beyond the seller’s control;
  • Products linked to unforeseeable fluctuations in the financial market.
